The Caribbean is the broader term for the islands and Nations surrounding the Caribbean Ocean area. The area is world famous for crystal blue waters, white sand beaches, and unbelievable resorts. We narrowed down the best all-inclusive resorts, below is our list:
#1: Secrets Cap Cana
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
With over 15,000 5-star reviews, the adults-only Secrets Cap Cana Resort has been the top all-inclusive on our list since opening in 2016. Located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the resort has direct access to white sand beaches, crystal clear water, and it sits in an exclusive gated community. The resorts features over 457 luxury suites, and has numerous amenities onsite.
#2: Live Aqua Resort
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Welcome to the Live Aqua Beach Resort in Punta Cana, a modern all inclusive resort with 347 rooms designed for peace, comfort, and a luxurious experience. The resort is home to amazing views, multiple pools, hot tubs, and suites with private pools. The resort also has a large fitness center, full spa, coffee shop, breakfast buffet, business center, and it sits on the beach for easy access to the ocean, and they offer airport transportation. The architecture is stunning, and we absolutely loved our stay!
#3: Wind Creek Resort
Private Island, Aruba
Aruba is home to an amazing all-inclusive resort Renaissance Wind Creek, sitting on a private island and private beaches. The resort is comprised of two hotels:: one that is adults-only (the Renaissance Marina Hotel), and one that is more family friendly (The Renaissance Ocean Suites). Both have access to a full-service spa, casino, and 8 restaurants, lounges, and bars. Activities include a large fitness center, hiking and jogging trail, multiple pools and hot tubs, scuba diving, and kayaking.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the resort staff is very friendly. While it may be the only hotel in Aruba on today’s list, don’t let that fool you, Aruba is a beautiful island with a lot to offer…there’s a reason why it’s in the top 3!
#4: Jewel Grande
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Jewel Grande consistently ranks as number 1 in the Rose Hall area of the island of Jamaica, and the resort offers rooms with views of the bay, and the accommodations are amazing. Choose between junior suites, three bedroom suites, or stunning villas… there is something for every type of traveler.
The resort sits just minutes from Montego Bay’s airport, offers free parking, free high speed wifi, pools and hot tubs, babysitting services, a nightclub, poolside bars, multiple restaurants, breakfast buffets, full spas, fitness classes and a workout facility, and a full business center.
The resort is perfect for both families, and couples, as well as weddings and business retreats. The resort was a 2022 Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best, and the spacious rooms are highly rated online. This is by far one of the best all-inclusive resorts, let alone resorts in Jamaica!
#5: Secrets Royal Beach
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Number five is Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, a gorgeous resort sitting on white sand beaches and turquoise blue water on the Eastern Coastline of Dominican Republic. Secrets Royal Punta Cana offers adults a full package of luxury with amazing experiences and amazing views of the Caribbean.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and inviting. The beds were very comfortable, and we found the staff to be especially friendly and helpful, which has helped to push this resort to number 5 on our list.
#6: Hyatt Ziva
Cap Cana, Dominican Republic
The Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is a beautiful all-inclusive resort in the gated community of Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. The hotel is one of the newest all-inclusive resorts in the area, and it flies under the Hyatt Ziva brand – Hyatt’s all inclusive luxury chain.
Interestingly enough, even though this is not our number 1, this hotel has been the top-rated all inclusive resort in Dominican Republic since its opening. We will likely move this up on future lists, but for now, we want to see how the hotel does over the next several years. But as of writing this, the hotel has over 4,000 5-star excellent reviews online.
The hotel itself offers free wifi, free parking, a huge fitness center, pools, hot tubs, babysitting services, a game room, spa services, and shuttle service to and from the airport.
#7: Hard Rock
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The Hard Rock is an amazing mix of a resort…. perfect for couples, families, groups of friends, and everything in-between. With over 1,775 rooms and suites, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is one of the largest stays in Punta Cana and it sits on pristine white sand Macao beach.
It sits in the coveted five-star rating hotel class, and offers free parking, free wifi, multiple pools and hot tubs, a fitness center, babysitting, spa services, a breakfast buffet, and even bowling.
The resort’s rooms are luxury accommodations with ocean views, suites, and family room offerings. The resort also has a signature spa, and Jack Nicklaus designed golf course…. Not to mention, the vegas-style casino which is the largest in the Dominican Republic.
#8: Royalton CHIC
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The Royalton Chic is the ultimate getaway for adults, whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a trip with friends, or even a bachelor or bachelorette party. The resort sits on the coastline of Uvero Alto Beach, and the resort is known to host a range of activities both day and night.
The hotel also offers free parking, free high-speed wifi, a fitness facility and workout room, airport transportation, spa services, and modern luxurious rooms.
#9: Dreams Royal Beach
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The hotel features free parking, free internet, multiple pools and hot tubs, beach access, a fitness center and workout facility, spa services, and much much more… in fact there were so many amenities listed, we couldn’t possibly name them all here.
We do want to point out that this is a great family hotel, as they offer a kids club, babysitting services, indoor play area, outdoor play area, and many more family-friendly amenities.
Containing over 370 guest rooms, the rooms are sleek and modern, offering a high level of luxury for couples and families. The rooms also offer air-conditioning, allergy-free rooms, blackout curtains, coffee and tea makers, and you can book larger suites with family rooms.
#10: Sheraton Puerto Rico
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We chose this as our number 10 due to not only the quality of the hotel, but also the ease of travel for US Citizens. Puerto Rico is an American Territory, making travel to and from the island a lot easier than other locations on our top 10 list.
The Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino sits just minutes away from historic Old San Juan, nearby cruise terminals, and only 12 miles from the International Airport.
The hotel itself features modern amenities and rooms, with free high speed wifi, a fitness center and workout facility, a full casino and gambling hall, evening entertainment, multiple bars, restaurants and lounges on site, and best of all, kids stay free.
