#1: Montage Laguna Beach

The Montage is a world-class resort and spa sitting on over 30 acres of prime oceanfront in South Laguna Beach. With two outdoor pools, a kids club, award winning spa and restaurants onsite, it’s easy to see why this is our #1 hotel in Laguna.
#2: Ritz-Carlton

The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is an amazing property overlooking the Pacific Ocean in South Laguna (Laguna Niguel). The property didn’t make our top 5 list, due to technically being in neighboring Laguna Niguel, and not Laguna Beach, but the resort is certainly worth a mention here.
#2 (Tie): Surf & Sand

The Surf & Sand is one of Laguna’s most famous hotels, as it sits directly on the beach with stunning views of the crashing waves. The rooms are modern, with gorgeous views, and the restaurant called Splashes at the base of the hotel is sure to entertain when waves are big!
#3: The Ranch

A unique and gorgeous hotel tucked away in a quiet canyon in Laguna Beach (only a 5 minute walk or ride to the nearby State Beach). The Ranch is a different kind of stay, with amazing views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to try their onsite restaurants, the food is incredible.
#4: Hotel Joaquin

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Laguna Beach. The hotel offers free hand delivered breakfast and coffee in bed, a pool, and a dining experiences onsite. If you’re looking for a more personal and smaller hotel, this is for you.
#5: Hotel Capri Laguna

Another gorgeous Laguna Beach Boutique Hotel, Hotel Capri offers a mediterranean take on the local surroundings. The location is one of the best in Laguna, you’re walking distance to all of the main destinations, and the hotel practically sits on the beach. Hotel Capri is sure to make your stay special.
